Julia Veli at Funkshion: Fashion Week Miami Beach Swim

Julia Veli brought rockstar credibility to her runway collection showcased at Miami Beach’s Fashion Funkshion. Female models adorned sexy string bikinis with interesting side wrapping straps and flowing ribbons. Male models were much more covered, wearing modest board shorts in abstract patchwork patterns and prints. Veli experimented with iridescent and metallic animal prints in addition to mixing neon shades of lime green and electric blue. Her current collection emphasized interesting design details, including contrasting piping, outlined bodices and lingerie inspired shapes.
