Peroni Designers Showcase at Funkshion: Fashion Week Miami Beach Swim

Fashion Funkshion producers teamed up with Peroni Italy, who served as the official sponsor of the weekend’s events, to support the efforts of local fashion designers in a special showcase examining their creativity. Over 15 hopefuls designed a mini-collection of three looks each to grace the runway in succession. This was an ideal way to highlight upcoming trends while featuring a multitude of emerging talent. There was a brilliant mix of both male and female collections, exploring realms of both ready-to-wear and evening styles. Innovative silhouettes, textures, and prints were utilized, capitalizing on sheer, leather, and animal print industry trends. The color palette exemplified was extensive, including deep earth tones, graphic black and white, as well as eye-popping teal, blue and lavender. Thanks to Peroni Italy, these local designers were not only able to show off their work, but also gain exposure during Miami Beach’s Fashion Week.
