White Sands at Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Swim 2013

Like the ease and beauty of the ocean, the White Sands runway show at MBFWS delighted viewers with a romantic and breezy collection of summer swimwear. Opening the show, pastel floral patterns and muted prints of lilac and mint green, covered rouched tops, deep v-neck one-pieces and high waisted bottoms. Lime green and lavender came into play in terms of silhouette outlines and bustier seams. It also served as ruffle piping, molded cups or added interest to contrasting bikini sets. Cover-ups were soft and feminine, consisting of flowing wrap dresses in two-tone nudes and bright sequins. Sexy shoulder bearing necklines or oversized kimonos added to the ease and romance displayed throughout the show. White Sands kept suits modest and simplistic; however, the one-side tie bottoms, wrap tops and elongated bodices added just enough interest. For a grand finale, the final looks were painted in a chic black-and-pink floral print, wrapping up a collection that can only be described as chic and fresh.
