Crystal Jin 2012 Runway – 2012 Mercedes-Benz Swim

The Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week continues with designer Crystal Jin’s 2012 bikini swimsuit collection. The New York designer’s collection is fun and sporty and yet chic and sophisticated at the same time. Silk, crochet and lace are the themes for this fashion show. The color palette runs from Coral, Peach and Antique White to Atomic Tangerine and Bistre.

For after the swim, we have a nice Light Silver silk sleeveless number that is mid-thigh length with sheer bodice and chain design. Another cover-up is a poncho-style Jet Black mid-thigh length garment with Aztec design on the front. The sleeves are such that they are full length but have wide holes that expose the ends of the shoulders.

Memorable garments: Peach bikini lined with gold; speckle patterned Lavender one-piece with plunging neckline and zipper; black and gold string bikini; Burgundy, Black and Gold curly-cue pattern on the upper halter-top style bikini and micro bikini bottom; Beau Blue crochet string bikini with side tassels, and an Amethyst mid-thigh length cover-up; Baby Blue crochet string bikini with alternating grey and charcoal color chain design; one-piece Anti-Flash White Lycra swimsuit with wide band and plunging neckline; Blizzard Blue string bikini with two buckles, paired with a Pale Yellow long-sleeved cover-up.
