Chic Retro Cool Meets Fresh Sporty Formal Wear in an Elegant Menswear Collection from Cerruti



Join us as we bring you the Cerruti autumn/winter 2015 presentation from Paris Fashion Week. Enjoy a front row view of the stunning menswear collection designed by Aldo Maria Camillo as Fashion One delivers you highlights from the runway show which created an industrial warehouse setting with unfinished walls and a stage of printing beds.

The collection was partly inspired by the style of German Fluxus artist Joseph Beuys as well as a vintage photograph of the founder of the label Nino Cerutti. A sophisticated palette of burgundy, browns, grey and black is broken up with splashes of yellow, wine and pastel blue in abstract patterns on knitwear and oversized scarves. Careful construction is shown in smart suits, narrow cut trousers and duffle coats in addition to cool sporty bomber jackets creating a stylish mix of casual and formalwear.

Turtlenecks, contrast colored cuffs and a patchwork mix of leather, fabric and suede panels were also recurring features alongside checked tweed overcoats and belted trenches. The charismatic, elegant image was completed with impeccable styling by Beuys-esque hats, retro tinted sunglasses, chic gloves and smart brogues or boots affording heaps of effortless masculine cool.
